Located in the former Predikheren monastery, Ken Verschueren’s Tinèlle restaurant combines a gastronomic experience with a taste of history. Taking the form of a changing three-course menu at lunchtime and an à la carte dinner, the two-star chef prides himself on using the freshest local products in his unstuffy, French-Belgian cuisine. The herbs, for example, come straight out of the monastery garden. Ken Verschueren runs Bar Bib, too, which serves affordable dishes as well as a good cup of coffee. Restaurant Tinèlle also does the catering for the Predikheren meeting rooms.
