Welcome to The Chick, a gastronomic poultry-inspired restaurant in Mechelen led by Elsje Van den Bogaert, Mehdi Mathlouthi and Wim Voss with Jens van Rompay as leading chef assisted by Ruben Van Sandvoet as sous chef & David Hoeck as pastry chef. In the shadow of the 'Sint-Romboutstoren' our fires are roasting, the knives are sharpened and Elsje, Mehdi and the team are ready to welcome you in the beautiful building on the 'Sint-Romboutskerkhof'. On the menu is the Basque Cou Nu chicken, but also taste the delicious Bird Is The Word or enjoy our chef's choice surprise menus. The menu gets a solid makeover every 8 weeks. Each dish is subject to two extremely important criteria: made with love & made to love. You' ll have lunch and dinner in a unique setting like no other in Mechelen.
