BeerWalk
The city of Mechelen has a rich and vibrant brewing heritage. A historical walking tour and tasting of beers produced by Mechelen’s Het Anker brewery – including the award-winning Gouden Carolus – is a novel way of getting to know the city and finding out how beer has been part of the fabric of the city for so long. The local beer-tasting experience takes you into a variety of iconic bars and old brewers’ houses, each with its own special beer story to tell.
